September 9th-11th, 2003.
A presentation and public memorial lecture on the dangers of Terrorism / Remembrance of the victims of September 11th 2001 Terrorist Attack on the W.T.C & Pentagon. Venue: International Conference Center, Abuja. Nigeria.
Summary of Events:
True Igbo Youth Solidarity Movement and Liberty4Africa will host the the program and this will encourage other youth organisations, Governmental bodies and private sectors to be involved in the fight against terrorism.
 
Day 1( 9th sept. 2003) There will be a peaceful rally / parade through the city of Abuja by both host organisations, individuals, organisations etc there will also be distribution of flyers and handbills.
 
Day 2 (10th sept.2003) Prayer sessions: This will consist of different activities ranging from church services to personal and group prayers for the repose of the souls of victims of the sept. 11th 2001, terrorist attack in the U.S.A.
 
Day 3 (11th sept.2003) An open lecture on the dangers of Africans being involved in terrorism or terrorist activities. This will involve public lectures presented by eminent Nigerians, professors, lecturers, lawyers, consultants, diplomats, government functionaries, administrators and student leaders.
 
 
November 14th-15th, 2003.
Seminar on "Developing Working Partnerships for N.G.O's, Governments and the private sector" . Venue: Agura Hotel, Abuja. Nigeria.
 
HIGHLIGHTS:
 
The headline of the seminar will be centered on the complex nature of the developing countries. The seminar will illustrate the importance of understanding the need for government and the private sector to work in partnership with N.G.O's to devise technologies using a range of methodologies.
 
In this perspective, N.G.O's will be collaborating with development institutions, funding Agencies, Governments, Business Communities to stimulate regional and local utilization of limited resources towards the maximization of human impacts.
